As a teacher, you are required to cultivate a safe and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of every student, including those with special needs. So, how do you ensure that all of your students, even those with special needs, can access the general curriculum and thrive academically, especially when you’re working within time constraints and competing interests?
In this course, we’ll explore how you can leverage technology to meaningfully engage all of your diverse learners. The strategies in this course will help you adapt your current curriculum to include technology and digital tools to ensure students with special needs can access core content in an inclusive classroom. By the end of the course, you will be able to design activities to increase your students’ motivation, create lessons that differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with special needs, and plan instruction that fosters special needs students’ independence and cultivates their executive functioning skills.
